 the outing to sentosa was all good catching up with the girls & guys, playing beach volleyball, chilling & pigging out, it was nice, like how it felt back then during the good ol` days.  its also a good note that more than half of the rock guys got into ocs, as well as cousin. (: having tutored for months now, i realised tutoring is probably the ONLY job that i dont get sick of. cause instead of handling politics and backstabbing shit in the working world, you deal with innocent-protected-kids-who-arent-that-s cheming. there's not only monetary incentive, but satisfaction. wish i didnt have to drop some of my students. |

friday night was spent with my PERSONAL Mosquito Squatter (tracy) & Miss ohmygad (deb). after visiting the cam shop at liang seah street with tracy, i decided HOLGAs/ SMENAs are way too expensive to maintain due to the the cost of film and the printing.
cause my parents know photography is my IN-thing now, they agreeed to buy a prosumer camera for me! [: [: [: DSLRs are no-nos because they cost a bomb and are too bulky to camwhore/bring around.& entering uni in less than 2 months time doesnt help one bit. So after much consideration, i decided to get a PROSUMER. dad's getting me the CANON POWERSHOT S5 IS, which has just/not arrived in Singapore yet. i love having such supportive parents ((:

i realised ive got a damn packed schedule tmr, which isnt good really, cause mad rushes drive me mad. & a crazy jialing = monster jialing

11-1pm: tuition
thereafter, ive got to travel down to wheelock to get my new RED nano ((:
2+pm: meet mom at centrepoint for some furla shopping & lunch
following that, ive got to meet tracy, who's nice enough to accompany me down to wherever the camera shop in liang seah street is.
& finally, dinner at hollandV with deb, tracy and perhaps jt.
but i guess tmr is gonna be fun-filled [:

arranging driving lessons early in the morning,
is good cause i get to hitch a ride from mom,
is bad cause i keep falling asleep.
thank god for my favourite driving instructor (:
for a record, i was out from 4 to 9.30pm tutoring.
i hate hdb blocks cause i ALWAYS get lost in them.
new kids stayed at blk 67, which is just opp temasek pri.
but i ended up walking from blk 30 plus to 65, only to find that there wasnt a blk 67 in where i was
directed by random strangers walking around the area, i finally got there after 35 mins of walking in the sun.
but i guess, it really paid to have an understanding parents and 2 nice siblings as students [:
i wish some sugar daddy/mommy/lover would buy me a camera and let me go round singapore for shoots.

 met up with joce after tuition today to shop at vivo. but before that, we went down to orchard epicentre to revive my red nano. waited so darn long but the wait was worthwhile cause she said they'll replace my red nano with a new one! HEHEHE. at first i thought i had to settle for the ugly black one since the 8gb only came in black in the retail shops. but nooo, she said i'll get back my red love (: i'm keeping my fingers crossed that they wont find out what really happened and just give me a brand new one. it wont hurt anyway, cause i'm sure Apple being a monopoly making supernormal profits can do with one less red nano. RED NANO COME QUICKKK!
headed down to vivo thereafter. went from topshop to pull & bear to river island to forever21. ended up buying only one top from topshop. good thing is, i managed to get 20% with joce's voucher. so i guess it's all good (:
with the new tuition assignment i got today, miss cheong officially has 4 students and has 5 tuition sessions weekly. i think i qualify as a full-time tutor. soon, i'll hate the secondary school syllabus. ):

 my brief 2 days working at the pc show at suntec was really good. though we weren't part of the happening Sony/ Canon/ Lumix promoters, we still had fun. Working with caroline and caryn's definitely good. Especially so when we made friends with the guys in the logitech booth, which was next to ours. (: but the freaky part was definitely the cheena-bespectacled-toot-NTU-guy. a good example would be this... moving on, this weekend has been/is gonna be hectic. Watched Shrek 3 with bro today at Vivo, then went down to the pc show with him to get a hard drive. Thereafter, we proceeded to bugis to shop and have dinner. I bought a watch after much thought. hee! and tomorrow, we're gonna wake up super early to cycle. We're supposed to reach there at 7.30am where the 45km endurance event will begin. Someone tell me i wont die. tomorrow's hectic i tell you. i'll be cycling the morning away, tele-ing the afternoon away, prob cutting hair with bro in the evening, followed by family dinner tmr night. and hrmm, i still need to go down to orchard to get my red nano fixed! ): |

Lo and behold,
a story untold.
there was a girl,
who was a fool.
Promised a reward,
she worked like a dog,
She expanded her resources,
and signed people up for courses.
Naive was she,
to think money came easy.
So hard she worked,
in hope of some money.
But when the day came,
despondent was she,
to realise it wasnt meant to be.
Treated like a tool,
she felt like a fool.
To have gone to work,
only to get hurt.
With no money, she couldnt be happy.
Now it isnt funny,
if the reason given was 'no moneyyy'
Devastated,
she drank some water.
Was it fated, was it not,
for the bottle cap to fall out?
Digging her bag to find a pen,
she found her nano at dead end.
Afloat on water,
she wish she didnt falter.
But now, it didnt really matter.
And if you thought the day`d end here,
then maybe you were just like her.
But unexpected the news came,
rejected was the subject name.
Just a scholar-wannabe,
she didnt make it to top 3.

you know its a bad day when
- your only hope is dashed. Yes, i didnt get the scholarship
- fcking TY refused to pay me my monetary incentive. Even after they reluctantly did so, they shortchanged me
- your red nano drowns (literally) when your water bottle leaks in your bag
- your bro who cycled yr bike from upp east coast all the way to boon lay said the bike was beyond repair despite changing the tyres and gears. you know its an especially bad day when you realise you need your bike this coming sunday for Runway Cycling.
let's not talk about the bicycle incident, it just worsens everything.
let me moan.

so im giving up my smu scholarship interview tomorrow
mom and dad said, even if i get the scholarship (which would prob nt be the case), they'll still want me to go to ntu
so i figured, it'll be better to give up my space for someone who really wants it.
hopefully, the top 3 who got offered too, would do the same and let ppl like ME who want it so bad.
and just a few minutes ago, i sealed my fate with the click of the button.
me? i'll be a future NTU Accountant. let's just hope things will turn out a-okayy.

went down with xh and chelle to Clarke Quay to support eli and chelle, who were competing in Rockmaster `07. But didnt manage to watch chelle perform as sarah and i left early for the SMU School of Accountancy session.

when i was working full time, i wish i had more time
now that im unemployed, i wish someone would buy part of my ME-time
but i guess life's all good now.
waking up when the sun heats up my butt
being able to follow the nicest shows on tv again & again...
cycled with cheong to tamp safra today to sign up for the Runway Cycling 2007.
registered for the 45km route.
yes, i cant wait to burn off 45km-worth-of-undesirable-substances in my body (:
